Average yearly income for the last 2 years (won)On the points table, 2,500만 원 (25 million won) or more gives 50 points (agriculture, livestock and fishing: 2,400만 원 or more). But the main text of Ministry of Justice (법무부) documents also has other numbers: the September 2026 manual says 2,589만 원, and the June 2026 press release says 2,600만 원. If your average income is 2,500만 원 or more but less than 2,600만 원 (not agriculture, livestock or fishing), check with 1345. The fine limit is different in different documents. Ministry of Justice (법무부) manual, September 2026: with a fine of 300만 원 or more you cannot apply, and a fine under 300만 원 lowers your points. The Ministry's June 2026 material puts this limit at 100만 원. If your fine was 100만 원 or more but less than 300만 원, check with 1345 or the HiKorea (하이코리아) notices before you apply. The documents also differ on whether administrative fines (과태료) count in the Immigration Act violation penalty. If you have paid a 과태료, check this too.
